I wanted to get into software development without really knowing what that was, so after high school I went for a degree in Informatica. Turns out University is all theory and no practice, and then Covid moved every lesson remote. Bored out of my mind, I quit and found a real job.

The real job. JavaScript and form.io, designing forms for public digital services. Also handling customer support, and writing Google Sheets scripts to automate the data analysis so nobody had to do it by hand.

Same company, same stack, new role. Real analytics with ClickHouse, events on Kafka, dashboards in Metabase. Also started working on AI projects, treating AI like a tool and not a guidance.
